Robert Pearl

Robert Pearl is a Specialist Registrar in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at Royal Free Hospital, London.

He obtained his BSc. in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Southampton in 1997 and subsequently graduated in medicine the following year. He completed Basic Surgical Training based at St Mary’s Hospital, London and became a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2002. He has recently completed a MD on molecular targets in melanoma at the University of London.

Research interests focus on the role of cell adhesion molecules in the progression and metastasis of melanoma, and the impact of early detection clinics on patient outcome.
