Calling All Volunteer Peer Reviewers!

Posted Thu, Oct, 03,2013

During 2013 Libertas has commenced transitioning from a minimum of two peer reviewers’ reviews to three reviews per manuscript.  These three reviews go toward the peer review report completed by the editor in chief.  Many publishers operating formal peer review systems require only two peer reviewers’ reviews, and some journals only ask reviewers to complete a restricted form of peer review.

Because of this important development, and because of natural growth in the quantity of submissions received, we now seek new volunteer peer reviewers.

Volunteer peer reviewers are asked to undertake a review usually no more than once per month and are free to decline if the proposed deadline is inconvenient.  In exchange for providing high-quality, comprehensive, and timely peer reviews we offer volunteer peer reviewers a 20 percent article processing fee discount.

The submission process for publication in Clinical Medicine Insights: Case Reports is extremely smooth.  The editors were very fast in their response and provided detailed instructions about all procedures.  They were happy to answer to all our questions.  The whole process was fast and efficient.  Congratulations to Libertas Academica.

All authors are surveyed after their articles are published. Authors are asked to rate their experience in a variety of areas, and their responses help us to monitor our performance. Presented here are their responses in some key areas. No 'poor' or 'very poor' responses were received; these are represented in the 'other' category.
