Dr. Michael Spinella is Associate Professor of Pharmacology and Toxicology at Dartmouth Medical School. He has extensive experience in basic molecular cancer research with clinical applications. His primary area of research has been in applying differentiation as a preventive and therapeutic strategy for cancer.
Dr. Spinella's current research focus is on the identification of mechanistic links between pluripotency and cancer and the identification of downstream genes and pathways signaling induced differentiation of human solid tumor cells, especially in response to retinoids and finding causative genes in those tumors that are cured with differentiation and cytotoxic therapy.
As an author of a review published in Translational Oncogenomics, I was impressed by the prompt processing and speed of publication. The entire submission, review and publication process was easy, quick and pleasant. The comments from reviewers and associate editor were high quality, scientifically deep and objective. It was a great pleasure to cooperate with such qualified and friendly team. I highly recommend publication in Libertas Academica journals.
All authors are surveyed after their articles are published. Authors are asked to rate their experience in a variety of areas, and their responses help us to monitor our performance. Presented here are their responses in some key areas. No 'poor' or 'very poor' responses were received; these are represented in the 'other' category.See Our Results
