Tumblrs are a relatively new innovation in social media. Unlike other manifestations of social media Tumblrs focusses primarily on images.
Libertas joined Tumblr relatively recently with the aim of establishing whether it was an effective channel to disseminate newly published papers. The results so far have been promising.
At the time of writing our Tumblr had over 13,000 followers who receive announcements of newly published papers. We have also been elected by Tumblr's science community as an editor of the science section.
