The unofficial impact factor for Cancer Informatics was recently updated. It’s unofficial impact factor is 1.6406.
Unofficial impact factors are estimated based on the number of articles and citations in a journal, and are usually higher for serials which have been publishing for a longer time. For a journal only established in 2007, an unofficial impact factor this high is very impressive.
Cancer Informatics' respectable unofficial impact factor was made possible by the fact that it is open access, meaning all articles are available online for anyone to read and download for free.
The widely respected editorial board and high quality peer review process have also helped to increase the number of citations and article views for Cancer Informatics.
All articles published in Cancer Informatics will benefit from high readership and citation rates backed up by the journal’s high unofficial impact factor.
This achievement for such a new journal was made possible by the extensive visibility we have established for Cancer Informatics, indexing it in:

Prefabricated Patient-Matched Cranial ImplantsThis was the most efficient and user-friendly publishing process I have experienced. The editorial team at Libertas Academica was phenomenal. They kept me engaged with each step of the publishing process and they were timely and professional with their response to my inquiries. I look forward to publishing additional articles with Libertas Academica in the future.
All authors are surveyed after their articles are published. Authors are asked to rate their experience in a variety of areas, and their responses help us to monitor our performance. Presented here are their responses in some key areas. No 'poor' or 'very poor' responses were received; these are represented in the 'other' category.See Our Results
