Announcement of Article to Peers around the World

Posted Mon, Jun, 25,2012

Libertas is a truly international publisher, with authors who publish in our journals working in countries as varied as: the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany, Japan, India, China, Nepal, Brazil, Switzerland, New Zealand,  Egypt, Dubai, Thailand, and numerous others.

Journals are included in databases and directories from the US, Poland, Switzerland, Sweden, China, India, New Zealand, the Netherlands, and Britain so as to promote articles worldwide. Articles are also included in many global databases like Pubmed and Scopus.  We have journals specifically targeted to meet the unique needs of Japanese and Indian authors.

All published articles are announced on the Libertas website, Blog, Twitter, Tumblr, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Google Plus, RSS, and by email. After publishing an article, it is our aim to promote it worldwide. Open-access journals allow anyone in the world to read articles anytime at no cost.

  • Dr Lisa Roche from Trenton, New Jersey, USA commented “We also appreciate that our article is available online free of charge to anyone interested in it.”

Libertas articles are also available to authors in developing countries through the HINARI database. HINARI is a database popular with authors in countries where most institutions cannot afford access to subscription journals or expensive databases. Inclusion in the HINARI database exemplifies the global scope of Libertas journals and the wide reach of articles appearing in them.

  • Dr Seppo Karrila from the Prince of Songkla University in Thailand said "Sharing the article is now as easy as sharing a link with no subscriptions required, and additional code and data files are equally accessible, supporting reproducible research."

Libertas’ work announcing articles around the world is part of the reason we now have over 7.3 million article views through our website (not including views through PubMed, and other external databases). This high level of visibility is one reason why so many internationally based authors choose to publish with Libertas.

  • Dr Ruediger Hardeland from the University of Goettingen, Germany said "Over 300 views in less than 3 weeks after publication indicate excellent visibility of the article and of the journal."

All authors are surveyed after their articles are published. Authors are asked to rate their experience in a variety of areas, and their responses help us to monitor our performance. Presented here are their responses in some key areas. No 'poor' or 'very poor' responses were received; these are represented in the 'other' category.
