At Libertas we are dedicated to ensuring that all manuscripts are published efficiently and to the highest possible standard. We are committed to offering you the best publishing experience.
Here is a brief overview of the process all submissions follow, although the exact process used is considerably more elaborate:
1) Manuscripts are initially assessed to ensure it meets all the criteria for peer review. This includes confirming that all files are received and provisionally scanning for plagiarism via iThenticate.
2) All manuscripts are subject to peer review by a minimum of 2 qualified experts.
3) Within three weeks the author will receive an editorial decision. Once the review is complete the first editorial decision, to accept, or accept subject to changes, or to reject is made by the editor in chief.
4) For the papers that require revision and resubmission the editor in chief will assess the resubmitted manuscript to confirm that the required revisions have been made.
5) Our specialist native English speaking editors will revise the manuscript for English language, punctuation, grammar, structure and tone to ensure each paper is ready for publication.
6) The paper is then typeset by professionals and the drafts are then sent to you!
7) Following disclosure of competing interests and approval by authors the article is published.

All authors are surveyed after their articles are published. Authors are asked to rate their experience in a variety of areas, and their responses help us to monitor our performance. Presented here are their responses in some key areas. No 'poor' or 'very poor' responses were received; these are represented in the 'other' category.See Our Results
