Libertas Academica was established in 2005 with the launch of Cancer Informatics and Evolutionary Bioinformatics. In the years following further journals have been developed to where we now operate 83 journals, and all but six of these operate under the open access model. Papers submitted to our journals are subject to expert peer review and independent editorial decision-making by each journal’s editor in chief, deputy editor in chief, or associate editor. Overview of this Section
This section of the Libertas website presents information of specific interest to scholarly librarians and information specialists. Some of these topics are also addressed elsewhere on our website, sometimes in greater depth than is given here. We therefore encourage you to explore the rest of the website.
The librarians section was launched in October 2015 and content is still being added and refined. In particular, information on scholarly databases is not complete at this time. We welcome suggestions of additional content of specific relevance to scholarly librarians and information specialists.
