Editor in Chief

Robert Jordan

Dr Robert Jordan is currently a specialist trainee in Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgery at University Hospital Coventry & Warwickshire. He holds a Masters of Science in Trauma and Orthopaedics from Warwick University after completing his medical degree at the University of Birmingham Medical School.

Dr Jordan is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons, England, the British Medical Association, the British Orthopaedic Trainee Association and the British Orthopaedic Association. He has published a number of papers regarding various aspects of the Trauma and Orthopaedic speciality and is a reviewer for a number of journals.

The Role of the Editor in Chief

The editor in chief is responsible for editorial decision-making on papers submitted to the journal.  The editor in chief is also responsible for editorial matters that include but are not limited to journal supplements, the journal's aims and scope, the editorial board and volunteer peer reviewer pool, editorial assessment of video abstracts, assignment to published papers of endorsements, and for consulting on pre-submission inquiries from authors.
