The Role of the Editor in Chief
The editor in chief has delegated to the associate editor responsibility for editorial decision-making on papers submitted to the journal. The editor in chief is responsible for editorial matters that include but are not limited to journal supplements, the journal's aims and scope, the editorial board and volunteer peer reviewer pool, editorial assessment of video abstracts, assignment to published papers of endorsements, and for consulting on pre-submission inquiries from authors.
This is the second time I have submitted a paper to Palliative Care: Research and Treatment for possible publication. In both instances, my experience with Libertas Academica was very good from submission to acceptance. The peer reviewers' comments were insightful, very constructive, and extremely helpful. The author interface was user-friendly. The publishing process was fast and convenient. I highly recommend this journal.
