Posted Sun, Nov, 29,2015

We are pleased to announce that Analytical Chemistry InsightsBioinformatics and Biology InsightsBiomarker InsightsInternational Journal of Tryptophan Research, and Magnetic Resonance Insights have been accepted for inclusion in the new Thomson Reuters Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI).  This means that articles published in the journals will be searchable, discoverable, and citable in Web of Science.

ESCI is a new service provided by Thomson Reuters intended to offer a broader focus than existing SCIE, SSCI and AHCI indexes.  ESCI enhances the depth of publications in Web of Science to include high-quality, peer reviewed publications of regional importance and in emerging scientific fields.  ESCI will make additional content of importance to funders, opinion leaders, and evaluators visible in Web of Science.

This brings our total quantity of journals in ESCI to seven.  Selection of journals for inclusion in ESCI is done on the basis of endorsements of journals by Web of Science users.
