What is the primary focus of your research?
1. Surgical outcomes after minimally invasive pelvic reconstructive surgery.
2. Evaluation of urinary urgency in women with overactive bladder syndrome.
3. Neurophysioloigic testing using electrodiagnosis in the genito-urinary tract of women with pelvic floor dysfunction.
4. Pain control in women undergoing gynecological surgery.
What are the most exciting developments arising from current research in your area?
The urgeometer is a new device for evaluation of urgency sensation at the time of urodynamics testing.
Who are your main collaborators? Please describe your work with them.

How did you come to be working in your research area?
At the time of my residency in Ob\Gyn I rotated at the Neurourlogy unit at our medical center. After doing some more research with the female urologists at our institiute, I have decided to do a formal fellowship in the field of Urogynecologist. I did my training at Loyola with Dr Beuberk, Kenton, FitzGerald and Mueller.
What do you think about the development of open access publishing? Have you published in an open access journal? What motivated you to do so?
I did not have the chance yet to publish at an open access.
