Author Talks About Bioinformatics and Biology Insights

Posted Mon, Feb, 11,2013

Following publication of his most recent paper, Dr Thomas Dandekar, who is also an Associate Editor, shared his opinion with us on Bioinformatics and Biology Insights:

"Libertas Academica, and the open access model of Bioinformatics and Biology Insights helps to reach all people with the latest results on research which directly helps them with their needs. Three of our co-authors are from Burkina Faso, the malaria holoendemic region our research is based on, and serving as motivation for all our efforts for better treatment of malaria.  It is good to be social and it is good to promote science world-wide through open access."

Dr Dandekar's paper, Analyzing Thiol-Dependent Redox Networks in the Presence of Methylene Blue and Other Antimalarial Agents with RT-PCR- Supported in silico Modeling, is available to download here.

What Your Colleagues Say About Libertas Academica
I found the submission management system for Evolutionary Bioinformatics to be one of the most user-friendly around. The peer review was very rigorous and constructive. Support staff were polite and furnished accurate information almost instantly. I strongly recommend other scientists to consider this journal.
