What is the primary focus of your research?

Tropical medicine, public health, infectious disease, laboratory medicine.

What are the most exciting developments arising from current research in your area?

Many reports on infectious diseases including the new emerging ones.

Who are your main collaborators? Please describe your work with them.

Many researchers in the field from around the world on infectious diseases and micrological research.

How did you come to be working in your research area?

Expertise in this field

What do you think about the development of open access publishing? Have you published in an open access journal? What motivated you to do so?

It is a good choice and new development in medical journalism. I have published many papers in open assess journal. It is really the new advent in the field.

What articles and/or books have you published recently?

More than 520 papers in international level, more than 40 books/chapters in international level.
