What Peer Reviewers Say

Posted Wed, May, 16,2012

Every paper published in Libertas journals is peer reviewed by two highly qualified peer reviewers.  After each peer review is completed we ask the reviewers for their feedback on our peer review process.  This helps us to ensure that we're consistently achieving our goal of providing a high quality peer review process.

We asked reviewers to rate their experience in five areas as very good, good, fair, poor or very poor.  Here's what they told us:

  • 93% rated instructions on how to undertake a peer review as good or very good

  • 90% rated their communication with Libertas staff as good or very good

  • 91% rated the accessibility of manuscript files as good or very good

  • 92% rated the interface to upload their peer review report as good or very good

  • 93% rated their over-all experience as a peer reviewer as good or very good

What Your Colleagues Say About Libertas Academica
It is a great pleasure to serve as a reviewer for Libertas Academica. The publisher has created an efficient review system which can easily find the right reviewer to review the manuscripts. I experienced this merit because all of the manuscripts forwarded to me are closely related to my research interests and I can give my scientific comment quickly and easily.  A good review system can benefit both reviewers and authors and help cutting-edge work ...
