Editor in Chief

Anuj Chauhan

Anuj Chauhan is a Professor and the Associate Chair in Chemical Engineering at the University of Florida.  He has worked in several areas related to Biomedical Engineering including drug formulation and delivery, drug overdose therapy, physiological modeling, pharmacokinetics, and tear dynamics.

Dr Chauhan’s research on drug eluting contact lenses was cited as the Medical Breakthrough of the year in 2001.  His research is funded by federal agencies including the National Science Foundation and the National Institutes of Health, as well as industry and non-profit foundations.

The Role of the Editor in Chief

The editor in chief is responsible for editorial decision-making on papers submitted to the journal.  The editor in chief is also responsible for editorial matters that include but are not limited to journal supplements, the journal's aims and scope, the editorial board and volunteer peer reviewer pool, editorial assessment of video abstracts, assignment to published papers of endorsements, and for consulting on pre-submission inquiries from authors.
