Libertas Joins COPE

Posted Mon, Mar, 19,2012

Libertas is pleased to announce that it has formally joined the Committee on Publishing Ethics, also known as COPE.

Libertas journals have long followed COPE guidelines, but this development ensures access to COPE advisors and resources.

Journals published by Libertas now have access to COPE's advisors.  Should an ethical problem arise with a paper under consideration or published, COPE staff will provide guidance to the journal's Editor in Chief and the publisher on how best to proceed.

Libertas recognises that scholarly publishing carries important ethical obligations, and this development reflects our commitment to providing high quality service to readers and authors.
