Libertas Author Wins Oncology Award

Dr Mark W. Dewhirst, a co-author of 'Elevated CAIX Expression is Associated with an Increased Risk of Distant Failure in Early-Stage Cervical Cancer' published in Biomarker Insights was recently awarded The American Society for Radiation Oncology's 2012 Gold Medal for his work in the field of radiation oncology.

The Gold Medal is the Society's highest honor and is awarded for outstanding contributions to the field of oncology.

Libertas would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Dr Dewhirst as this award highlights the quality of papers published in Biomarker Insights. Dr Dewhirst’s article has been viewed 3,216 times since its publication in 2008.
