Libertas is pleased to announce the launch of a new open access journal, Journal of Genomics and Exomics. The journal's Editor in Chief is Dr Stephen F. Kingmore, and he is supported by a respected editorial board.
JGE is an open access journal that welcomes all structured reports of high quality genome, exome, and gene panel sequences with attendant, detailed phenotypes. Structured genotype-phenotype reports that confirm prior preliminary associations are also welcomed.
The journal will provide a high quality peer review process. All papers will be subject to peer review by two to three suitably qualified peer reviewers drawn from the editorial board, and editorial decisions will be made by Dr Kingsmore.
The journal will also offer the ability to host large datasets of up to 50 mb, a free video abstract service, and no restrictions on the use of color images, large datasets, tables or diagrams, and no word limits.
Tom Hill, CEO of Libertas comments: "It's a pleasure to launch this new journal with Dr Kingsmore. We are confident that it fills a notable gap in the literature; this is not a 'me too' journal. We look forward to building this journal into a valuable resource for researchers working in this area around the world."
